Leigh had just frosted down No Man’s Land. It’s that time of year again. And just in time, we have a holiday story for all.
Leigh announced Christmastime’s start a while ago. Before peace, they had only celebrated Christmas in Winter Village. Now, Leigh, Alli, and their fellow Winter Villagers share the holiday with all.
“It’s Christmastime, Alli! First Christmastime in full peace!” Leigh announced. “Don’t we have to tell the others about Christmas?” Alli reminded her. “Yes. Winter Village has vowed to stop by every other village and tell them about this great holiday.” Leigh explained. “Dasher! Dancer! Prancer and Vixen! Comet! Cupid! Donner and Blitzen!” she recalls the reindeers’ names.
“Oh right, Rudolph too.” “Yeah, do you recall… the most famous reindeer of all…?” Alli imitated the guy who introduced Rudolph. “Getting the holiday flier!!!” The Armada family’s tradition is to use a holiday flier instead of the ol’ Winter one. They would fly to Autumn Village first, then Spring Village, then Summer Village. A Christmas miracle is upon them!
They arrive in Autumn Village…
“So this Christmas you’re talking about is ‘the best time of year’? ” Evelyn asked. ” Why, Christmas is the best day of the year, ” Alli told her, explaining it all to Autumn Village, “Christmas is a time where family comes together and celebrates. Children listen at night for sleighbells, and if they hear them they know the giftgiver Santa Claus is in town, with his reindeer. Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen are the reindeer. Santa goes from tree to tree placing presents under Christmas branches. [You can’t put a tree on a tree!] Snowy is it that night. Family from all over come for Christmas. ” “We can share this holiday with BOY Autumn Village!” Evelyn interrupted. “Yes, but they are still warring. ” Leigh reminded her. {Nobody wants to battle on such a special holiday} “See you later! Happy Christmas!” the Autumn Villagers shouted. “Many use different, but we use Merry Christmas.” Alli told them, flying away almost like Santa himself. “Happy Christmas, Merry Christmas, or Feliz Navidad, it’s the same thing.”
At Spring Village…
“G’day Leigh!” Taylor shouted in greeting. “Merry Christmas, Taylor!” Alli shouts back. “Christmas? What is Christmas?” Obviously, Taylor celebrates Easter, not Christmas {yet} ! “Christmas is, well, the best time of year.” Leigh explains, before Alli starts singing Sleigh Ride. “Just hear those sleigh bells ring-a-ling, ring-ting-ting-a-ling too, come on it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you, Outside the snow is falling and friends are calling ‘Yoo-hoo’, Come on it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you! Giddy-up, giddy-up, giddy-up, let’s go, let’s look at the show, We’re riding in a wonderland of snow. Giddy-up, giddy-up, giddy-up, it’s grand, Just holding your hand, We’re riding along with a song of a wintry fairy land!!! Our cheeks are nice and rosy and comfy cozy are we, We’re snuggled up together like two birds of a feather would be, Let’s take that road before us and sing a chorus or two, Come on, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you!!! There’s a birthday party at the home of Farmer Gray [Farmer Allie Gray] True!’ It’ll be the perfect ending a perfect day. We’ll be singing the songs we love to sing without a single stop. At the fireplace while we watch the CHESTNUTS pop! Pop pop pop. There’s a happy feeling nothing in this world can buy, While they pass around the chocolate and the pumpkin pie, It’ll nearly be like a picture print by Currier and Ives, these wonderful things are the things we remember all our lives!” “Alli only explained half of it. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!” Alli shouted, flying away with Leigh on the Holiday Flier. It’s midday, but the Armadas are explaining this before ANYONE has lunch.
At Summer Village…

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen are his reindeer. Santa goes from tree to tree placing presents under Christmas branches. Snowy is it that night. Family from all over come for a merry Christmas.” Once again, the Armadas leave, this time for their home. Now everyone knows of Christmas, and they get to celebrate it together.
